About the Company
On behalf of our client — a well-established and export-oriented manufacturing company producing raw and semi-processed materials for the food industry — we are seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager to lead the company’s international growth initiatives.

Our client operates in multiple countries with a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainable business practices. The organization aims to expand its presence in global markets by strengthening its export operations and commercial network.


Role Purpose

This position is responsible for developing and implementing international sales strategies, expanding customer networks, and identifying new market opportunities to support the company’s global growth objectives.
The Export Sales Manager will play a key leadership role in achieving sales targets, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction in overseas markets.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in International Trade, Business Administration, or related fields),
  • Advanced command of English (mandatory); knowledge of French and/or Arabic is a plus,
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in export sales and business development,
  • Experience in food or food industry raw materials / agricultural commodities.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and digital export platforms,
  • Proficient in MS Office applications,
  • Solid understanding of international trade regulations and export operations,
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and representation skills,
  • Proven leadership and team-management abilities, with a strong results-driven approach,
  • Analytical thinker with solid planning and reporting skills,
  • No travel restrictions; holds a valid driver’s license,
  • Based in Istanbul or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute export sales strategies and market plans,
  2. Manage existing customer relationships and expand into new international markets,
  3. Lead quotation, pricing, and contract negotiation processes with global partners,
  4. Oversee logistics, customs, and documentation processes in line with export requirements,
  5. Conduct market, competitor, and price analyses to shape effective sales policies,
  6. Represent the company at international fairs, trade missions, and customer visits,
  7. Manage and coach the export team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement,
  8. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budget analyses for senior management.
