GROUP FINANCE MANAGER
POSITION SUMMARY
The Group Finance Manager is responsible for standardizing the financial structure across all companies within the holding, managing budgeting and reporting processes, optimizing group cash flow, and providing strategic financial analysis to senior management.
This role carries significant strategic impact, covering consolidation, FP&A, risk management, capital planning, cash management, and digital finance transformation projects. The position ensures financial integration among group companies, directly supports the CFO, and manages the operational–strategic integrity of the finance function.
STRATEGIC IMPORTANCE & EXPECTATIONS
Strategic Role of the Position
• Standardize all financial processes across group companies
• Optimize cash management, budgeting, financial control, and capital structure
• Provide timely, reliable, and analytical financial insights to senior leadership
• Manage consolidated financial reporting accurately and transparently
• Guide investment, funding, risk management, and capital planning initiatives
• Lead ERP / digital finance transformation at the group level

CANDIDATE PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Banking, or related fields
• Preferably MBA or a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Financial Control
• Professional certifications such as SMMM, CPA, CMA, CFA are strong advantages
Experience
• 8–12 years of experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, and reporting
• Experience in group companies or manufacturing organizations is preferred
• Strong background in economics, budgeting, financial analysis, and team management is essential
Languages
• Advanced English (mandatory)
• Italian language knowledge is an advantage
Computer & Digital Skills
• ERP experience (IFS is a major asset; SAP / Oracle / Netsuite acceptable)
• Advanced Excel (pivot, macros, advanced formulas)
• Strong PowerPoint skills for executive-level presentations
• Knowledge of Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau
• Familiarity with digital finance, RPA, e-transformation, and process automation
• Proficiency in consolidation software

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
A) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Prepare the annual group budget and present it to the CFO
• Perform monthly financial analyses and budget vs. actual variance analysis
• Monitor and report business unit financial performance
• Develop and track the group KPI framework
B) Consolidated Cash Management
• Manage daily/weekly cash flow projections of all companies
• Plan cash needs of international projects (30–40 projects simultaneously)
• Coordinate daily cash optimization with the treasury team
• Prepare short-term liquidity reports
C) Banking & Financial Institution Relations
• Manage credit lines, limits, guarantees, and LC/BG processes with banks
• Coordinate export financing with Eximbank and SACE/Hermes
• Build credit cost and collateral strategies
D) FX Position & Risk Management
• Manage the group’s daily/weekly FX position
• Develop hedging strategies and report to the CFO
• Analyze interest rate, currency, and country risks
• Evaluate forward/swap instruments for project financing
E) Project-Based Financial Management
• Create cash-in / cash-out plans for each project
• Track LC payment schedules, BG costs, and milestone payments
• Present project profitability analyses to the CFO
F) Financial Reporting & Consolidation
• Provide data for IFRS consolidation processes
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of company financials
• Prepare monthly financial summary reports for the CEO and Board
G) Internal Control & Process Improvement
• Optimize finance processes (procurement–inventory–project–accounting–collections)
• Strengthen internal control mechanisms
• Lead ERP (IFS) finance module development and improvements
H) Team Management
• Coordinate with finance teams across the holding and subsidiaries
• Manage functional teams of 10–15 people (budget, treasury, FP&A)
• Demonstrate proven experience in multi-company finance management
