DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER RESPONSIBLE FOR FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS - 20.07.2024

We are looking for a Deputy General Manager Responsible for Financial and Administrative Affairs to be employed at the factory of our corporate client company, which is an international leader in the metal industry and foreign-funded. 

  • Graduated from Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Econometrics, or equivalent departments of universities, preferably with a master's degree
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, advanced Excel skills
  • At least 15 years of experience in financial affairs in manufacturing companies
  • Experienced in leading Finance & Accounting, HR, and IT departments
  • Proficient in financial analysis, crediting, IFRS, and has the management skills to lead IT and HR processes
  • Possesses leadership skills, foresight, successful in managing relationships, able to lead the development of teams, decision-making, taking initiative, and reporting skills
  • Possesses presentation and reporting skills
  • Able to travel abroad a few times a year
  • Completed military service (for male candidates)

All candidates are preferably required to reside in or be able to reside in the Tekirdağ region or Lüleburgaz, Silivri, Beylikdüzü, Büyükçekmece, Bahçeşehir region.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The role will manage the administrative and operational processes of the company's Accounting & Finance, HR, and IT departments, prepare and report financial statements, plan budget and cash flow, manage payments and receivables, support independent audits, manage incentives and tax, ensure internal control and risk management, manage information technology and security systems, organize human resources and training processes, conduct performance evaluations, and manage administrative procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Management and Operations: Administrative and operational responsibility for all departments (Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology).
  2. Financial Statements and Reporting: Controlling financial reports, analyzing budget deviations, reviewing and interpreting the international Stravis report, controlling tax burden, and ensuring correct provisioning according to IFRS standards. Also, ensuring necessary controls according to inflation accounting.
  3. Budget and Cash Flow: Providing opinions and suggestions on investment, product pricing revision in budget analysis according to macroeconomic indicators.
  4. Payments and Receivables Management: Directing requests on crediting, developing processes with new payment methods.
  5. Independent Audit: Observing the work of the independent audit firm, understanding changes made according to IFRS standards and adapting them to reporting.
  6. Incentives and Tax Management: Analyzing incentive standards, measuring and adapting them to the company, developing the necessary infrastructure and process, and then following and analyzing its operation. Analyzing the company's tax burden and risk, taking necessary actions with the suggestions and support of consultants for tax savings. Deeply analyzing cost analysis and directing production and sales management about product diversity and investment.
  7. Internal Control and Risk Management: Creating control processes, planning and reporting internal control activities.
  8. Information Technology: Evaluating sustainability, procedure, application deficiencies and risks, and guiding decision-making in investment, employment, and outsourcing if necessary.
  9. Human Resources: Managing the operation of the human resources department, creating procedures, evaluating recruitment processes, updating performance criteria, providing development on fringe benefits, providing opinions and suggestions on occupational health and safety. Leading on wage management, payroll, and job evaluation. Leading on protecting and updating the rights of expatriate employees.
  10. Training and Development: Leading in creating opportunities for talented employees.
  11. Performance Evaluation: Leading in updating the performance system.
  12. Administrative Procurement and Management: Managing supplier, evaluation, budget analysis, and control processes regarding administrative procurements.
